Your new artist page is live

We’ve rebuilt Sleeve to feel more personal, more powerful… and more yours.

This isn’t just a redesign. It’s the start of a new phase for Sleeve: one where every artist has a true home online.

What’s new (and what’s coming)

  • Your new artist page is live today
  • Soon you can connect your own domain (e.g., catelebon.com)
  • Add custom pages for your press kit, projects, or zines
  • Customize the look and feel to match your style

This isn’t about features… it’s about agency.

Sleeve is evolving into part website, part newsletter, part fan hub… built for artists who want to go direct.

We’re also introducing a small monthly plan to keep Sleeve ad-free and sustainable. Think of it as a modest investment in independence… for you, and for the community we’re building together.

On the metrics that matter

I’ve been giving quite a few talks lately… from conservatories to conferences… and a topic that keeps coming up is metrics.

We’ve all learned to chase the wrong ones: plays, likes, followers. Vanity metrics look good but mean little.

What actually matters are actionable metrics… the signals of real engagement: who opens your newsletter, who shows up to your shows, who actually listens when you speak.

This piece by The Fanbase Builder nails it:

Finding the metrics that matter
Discover why follower counts and stream numbers fail to measure true fanbase growth.

A reminder that music isn’t a competitive sport… and growth isn’t about numbers, it’s about understanding what moves people.

Artists on Sleeve this week

Alexander Grandjean
He opened a pre-release of his full album, exclusively on Sleeve.

Alexander Grandjean - Foam
[early access: listen before official release nov 14] A dreamy indie-folk / singer-songwriter journey through impermanence and transformation — where folk meets nature and mysticism.
“I think the modern world spins too fast… I’m here to slow things down.”

He’s doing just that… and it’s stunning.

Markus Brandt
A debut that captures the sound of collective burnout and the hope that follows.

“I want to create an honest dialogue… between myself, listeners, and the big questions we all wrestle with.”
sleeve: Markus Brandt

Nille Nyc
Shared a stunning art video for one of her songs... part music, part visual poem... along with honest reflections on ageism in the music industry and what it means to stay true to your creative voice over time.

Closing thoughts…

Sleeve is becoming what we always hoped it could be… a home for artists who create with intention and believe connection still matters.

Thanks for being part of it.
We’re just getting started.

Stay tuned,
Anna
